Dear
Brothers in Christ,
Welcome to Joseph J. Burn Council 3227.
Our Council is very involved in the activities of Sacred Heart of Jesus
Catholic Church as Knights and as individuals. Under the Knightly organization
our Brothers are involved in and complete many projects around the parish
throughout the year. As members of the parish the Knights participate in
and help with many of our parish ministries.
If you are a Catholic gentleman but
not yet a Knight, I would like to extend a personal invitation to you to
consider joining us to be a strong voice in support of the church, the
family, life issues, vocations and Catholic education. Membership is open
to men 18 years and over who are practical Catholics as defined by the
Church.
We hope this website provides a brief
introduction to our council and The Knights of Columbus. Please feel free
to contact me with any questions about our council or becoming a member.
Vivat Jesus!

Council News –
September 2022
Our Knights Council has been going through
some major changes. Our Knights hall has been sold and we have become
a parish based council at Sacred Heart. Being based at the parish
we have been able to attract new members. We are hopeful this trend
will continue.
We have been blessed to have good leadership
these past two years with Dan Myers as our Grand Knight. As of July
1st we have a new Grand Knight Mark Proper. We are confident our
council will continue to be successful in our contribution to our parish
and community.
Be on the look out for some of the Knights
planned activities. We hope to continue the fish fries this coming
Lenten season. We have discussed ways to raise funds for our diocese
seminarians as well as help for the Center of Concern.
As always, we are looking forward to
welcoming new members. We have our council meetings in the activity
center on the second Monday of each month at 6 PM.
We are looking forward to another successful
year. Come and join us. New members always bring new ideas
to our council.
See you at mass.
Vivat Jesus.
